Teletherapy appointments only
I meet with clients on weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm. Each session is typically 45-50 minutes long. I collect the session fee at the time of each appointment.
Since I reserve your appointment time exclusively for you, there is a charge for appointments missed or cancelled without 24 hours notice.
I am in-network for: Aetna, Allways, Blue Cross, Harvard Pilgrim, Optum, Tufts, United, & United Behavioral Health.
Please note that insurance companies reimburse only "medically necessary" counseling as documented by a mental health diagnosis. For this reason, some counseling is not eligible for insurance reimbursement, and some eligible clients prefer to bypass insurance for privacy reasons. I will help you assess which options make sense in your circumstances.
Teletherapy may not be the most appropriate treatment approach in every circumstance. If I assess that a client would be better served by a clinician who can offer in-person office visits, I will ask that you contact your insurance provider to help you find a clinician who can offer that service.
